MISSION AND PHILOSOPHY
We are a small, agile communications consulting firm that can help scientists, engineers and other specialists create clear and compelling stories for research journals, funding applications and high-stakes presentations to colleagues and stakeholders. We are ourselves researchers who left the laboratory bench to pursue “alternative” careers in teaching, publishing, writing, policy analysis, nonprofit management and entrepreneurship. We have developed a rich perspective on how scientists can engage most effectively with one another.
Our goal is to help you communicate your research to internal and external audiences as concisely and clearly as possible. In a way that clarifies and convinces, even before audiences can formulate their doubts. Your audience could be experts in other fields, the general public, or even your colleagues working in another laboratory.
Research nowadays is at once hyperspecialized and multidisciplinary, and balancing these opposing “inward” and “outward” forces is as challenging as balancing the yin and yang in the universe.
